Sustainable Future Of Science and Technology in India : Education, Skills and Work

Being a fast-growing country, India is constantly striving to improve its technological capabilities and
become a global player in the field of science and technology. New inventions are being made by
Indian experts and students, which are contributing to the country's rise in the field of technology.
As a result, India is expected to witness a boom in the coming years in various sectors such as
education, aviation, medicine, and electronics.Due to the rapid development of technology in India,
the country has been able to transform from rural areas into cities. With the help of modern
technology, it is expected to become a super-fast developing nation in the future. However, in order
to achieve its goals, the country should be more transparent and faster.
Technology has radically altered education in many ways. For one thing, technological advancements
have considerably increased educational opportunities. Books were scarce in mediaeval times, and
only a select few had access to educational opportunities. Individuals had to travel to educational
institutions in order to receive an education. Massive volumes of knowledge (books, documents,
audios and videos) are now available at one's fingertips via the Internet, as are formal learning
possibilities. Teachers' and students' responsibilities have begun to shift as a result of technology.
The teacher is the major source of information in the traditional classroom, while the students are
passive recipients. This image of the teacher as the "sage on the stage" has a long history in
education, and it is still prevalent today. However, as a result of the increased access to information
and educational opportunities provided by technology, the teacher's role in many classrooms is
evolving to that of a "guide on the side," as students assume greater responsibility for their own
learning through the use of technology.
Experts predict that technology will be evolved in a way that enhances people's well-being rather
than detracting it. In fact, they believe that technology will continue to bring people together and
strengthen bonds. As a result, they believe that these ties will bring individuals happiness. They also
believe that individuals will have easier access to affordable and accessible knowledge, information,
education, and entertainment. This will assist to level the playing field for people from various
socioeconomic backgrounds. There is currently insufficient research to determine conclusively how
technology will effect future well-being. But, like with anything exciting and delightful, moderation is
essential. We need to make sure we're talking to our younger ones about how to manage their
screen time and how to use technology properly. Technology, social media, and digital devices are
not inherently harmful. We just need to figure out how to manage them so they don't take up all of
their time and negatively effect their health and well-being.
