Everything going Great with NOTHING???
On October29, 2020 a new technological company got registered in UK named "Nothing".
The name has the vision of its founder Carl Pei who was co-founder of OnePlus another weird and fascinating named brand. Nothing then announced "Teenage Engineering" as their co-founders who are responsible for design aesthetic of brand, so Carl Pei is co-founder of Nothing as of now.
Nothing announced its debut product, the "Ear (1)" on July 27, 2021, which are TWS(Truly Wireless) Earphones. The product was very much appreciated by experts and also liked by the common people and became the daily driver of many. It offered a great value at a good amount , also have a unique transparent look that makes it stand out among others and soon the sales went higher and higher.
As soon as Carl left OnePlus, it got a little out of track on Market value and has not catched up yet and after its integration with Oppo, the rebranding of Mobile Phones and the reflections of Oppo's ColourOS in OxygenOS has left People disappointed.
The name feels a little weird, Oh yes! It does, but at the same time doesn't it feels rare and unique.
Carl Pei officially announced the company to all people on January27, 2021.
Just announced and the company started to draw attention of many people worldwide and many people showed their faith in a newly launched consumer technology company and invested in it.
Tony Fadell, the inventor of the iPod, Kevin Lin, the co-founder of Twitch, Steve Huffman, the CEO of Reddit, and YouTuber Casey Neistat are among the company's investors.
Nothing purchased the Essential Products trademarks and brand on February 15, 2021, over a year after the company ceased its operations.

On October13, 2021 Nothing became a 50Million Dollars company and also announced a partnership with Qualcomm, that started the rumours of Nothing coming up with a Smartphone soon.
Ascending the success of Ear(1), Nothing announced its first Smartphone "Nothing Phone(1)" on March23, 2022 along with the NothingOS based on Android. Nothing launcher is available for all on Google Play Store. Phone (1) from Nothing is going to launch on July12, 2022 and is clearly the most awaited and hyped launch of the year in Smartphone industry. It is also in News for quite some time for its unique transparent look which is said to be continued from Ear(1).
It will also launch in India tha same day as its global launch that tells that Nothing is taking Indian Market seriously and knows how it can elevate them.
Some Phone Designs also rendering on Internet for quite some time referring to how Phone(1) might look like.
Nothing has also shown some glimpses of its Smartphone which are way similar to the Renders and bring something new to the table.
Everybody is very keen to see how things fold up with nothing in future.
But ......
Did all of this came and happen suddenly.
And yes , well you guessed the answer is no.
Nothing is not mentioned as its name but always recognised as Carl Pei's Company. Nothing is a vision and all hard work put in by Carl Pei who have also done it with One Plus. He has also worked with Nokia, Meizu and Oppo which is a subsidiary of BBK electronics like OnePlus is.
Pei co-founded OnePlus with Pete Lau in Shenzhen, Guangdong in December 2013.
Pei announced his resignation on October 16, 2020, so that he could start a new journey after doing many amazing things with OnePlus, including OxygenOS and elevating the company to greater heights. Pei went on to raise up to $7 million in funding from a variety of investors to start his own venture.
Recent launches has also done worse to OnePlus decreasing their sales from 9, 9pro, 10pro, Nord2 Packman edition etc.
Nord2 was a lone Ranger for OnePlus in this time but the Phone Blasts news that came eventually one after the other for a reasonable time has caught up to people's mind. OnePlus also got in trouble for having issues with the Geekbech scores of its 9 and 9Pro.
Till now , the only visible difference is the one man, the leadership, the personality, the vision of Carl Pei.
Along with being keen to see how it goes with Nothing, also keep an eye on what OnePlus do with itself in future.
